Traveling by the seat of one's pants... not my idea of fun!

plane tickets ~ check
seat assignments ~ check
hotels ~ check
meals planned ~ check
tours booked ~ check
suitcases packed ~ check
All my Ts crossed and Is dotted ~ check!
Travel to China in a couple weeks ~ with none of the above ~ check! YIKES!
The good news is we do know who is traveling. Originally the whole Judge clan was going to pick up and take off on the spur of the moment. As our travel time is moving later and later and we have school to worry about, the decision has been made for me, my mom, and Abby to travel to China to meet Lilli. Joe will meet us in Xian for "Forever Family" day and hang out until the adoption is finalized in the eyes of China. He will then return to Australia where he and my dad will entertain Joey, Holly, and Daniel.
Meanwhile, my mom, Abby, Lilli, and I will be roaming the hot spots (or freezing spots) of China! We will start in Beijing, then travel to Xian. Once we receive Lilli's passport and finalized adoption paperwork, we will travel to Guangzhou where we will remain for a week to complete the US Consulate paperwork and receive Lilli's American Visa. We will also get her an Australian Visa so she can come home.
From Guangzhou we will travel to Hong Kong. It's like the old commercials... Judge family, now that you have completed Lilli's adoption, what will you do next? Go to Disney!!! After spending a day or two in Hong Kong with Minnie and Mickey, we will fly home to Canberra.
Then we shall rest and work on finding our new "normal" as a family of seven!
